Recalibrate Reachy 2023 arm?

Hi Pollen Robotics team,

I was wondering if it is possible to recalibrate Reachy 2023’s arm to 0 for shoulder pitch, roll, and arm yaw?

The right arm had loosened and I tightened the screws to reattach it, but the shoulder roll and arm yaw do not match correctly anymore. I think originally when the arm was at rest, the angles are all close to 0 and while I could manually turn the shoulder pitch to 0 again, the roll and arm yaw are now incorrect unfortunately.

Thank you so much!

Hi @jyau ,
It looks like the shoulder roll and arm yaw are reversed. Could you check that the three holes in the hull (red circles in the photo) are properly aligned with the three holes in the metal part (green circles)? And could you check that the label on the motor is facing you when you are facing Reachy ?

Hi Claire,

Thank you so much, it seems the shoulder pitch was turned 180 degrees! The label was facing backward.

We turned it forward, detached the arm and turned the shoulder pitch until it was back to 0, and reattached the arm. Now the shoulder pitch, roll, and arm yaw are back to 0 at rest.

Thank you!
